Origins

Fixation launched in 2014 as a production vehicle to leverage the potential of the World Fixer network. From offices in Shoreditch, London and Barcelona we manage an extended network of producers and production managers globally. Our model is designed to keep our operation lean and retain a dynamic range of talent to offer clients.

Core Team

1. Mike Garrod

Founder/CEO

Mike started out in camera department in London in 2000. Since then he has branched out to act as producer + director in TV, documentary, branded content and ads. He founded World Fixer after years of working globally taught him the value of local networks and the need to find trusted, vetted talent.

2. Will Olsen

Head Of Production

Hailing from Australia, Will spent 10 years working in creative agencies in London, handling large accounts for some of the biggest brands out there. He worked his way up from Producer to Head of Film before joining Fixation as Head of Production. Solid global experience, attention to detail and a calm approach make him a perfect fit.

3. Fred Moore

Partner

Originally from a finance background Fred has been involved with World Fixer and Fixation from day one. Through his digital marketing and brand consultancy called Matter Of Form he has helped us to manage the business and strategic concerns over the years.

Our Network

The World Fixer network boasts over 15,000 producers, fixers, journalists and creatives. Designed as a ‘social media’ style platform our registration and vetting process is done manually by admins.
